Why pick this ride?
If you've watched 'Chef's Table,' then you've probably heard of Alice Waters, Thomas Keller, or Dominique Crenn. All of them call the SF Bay Area home. One hour north of San Francisco, Wine Country is the region of California known worldwide as a premium wine-growing region. It is also famed for its Michelin star restaurants, boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and more importantly for its beautiful twisty backroads. Together, we will explore the best this region has to offer, the native way.
Unlike other tour companies, we choose authentic over touristy, cozy over extravagant, and put experience before haste.
Duration: 3 days
Departure: 1 weekend / month
Group Size: small / custom
Start & Finish: San Francisco, CA
The Food
California cuisine, as pioneered by Alice Waters, emphasizes ingredients rather than technique and has developed a supply network of direct relationships with local farmers, ranchers and dairies.
The Napa Valley food scene continues to amaze locals and visitors alike with a constant influx of new flavors and signature chefs opening up shop. WIth 7 Michelin starred restaurants, it is already known as a premier “foodie” destination. It is also one of the world’s signature and top culinary meccas and one of the largest food destinations spanning over 30 miles.
